Between July to September 2026:
- The Community Pantry has supported a total of 199 unique individuals.
- The Community Pantry supported 72 unique households, with an average of 34 households each week.
- 6098 food items were distributed with a total estimated value of $19,122
- In addition, 1053kg of fresh fruit, vegetables and bread were distributed

We would like to welcome Adam to the Gateway Stronger Communities Initiative in his role as Operations Officer. Adam brings a passion for community impact and diligence in his work that will strengthen the Community Pantry and explore growth opportunities for GSCI.

Looking Forward
We attended the Food For Thought Research Report 2026 presentation at The Gordon in October which provided a picture of food insecurity across the Geelong region. In addition to their key findings, they also identified priorities that need to be addressed moving forward.
